If you have a claim under $10,000.00 and you live in Hennepin County you can file a claim in Hennepin County Conciliation Court. You can find the form on line and download the form. You can also pick up the form at the Conciliation Court in Room 306 in the Minneapolis City Hall or at the Self-Help Center on the skyway level in the Hennepin County Government Center. Once you fill out the form you will need to sign it in front of a notary or a court clerk. Then you either file it in person or mail it to:

A hearing will be set approximately 60 days from when you file your claim. Hearings are usually scheduled every day at 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
